How do I get Lifeline services if I am unable to pay the monthly fee?
Some Lifeline programs have sponsorship or financial assistance programs. Lifeline programs are also able to help you determine if you already qualify for sponsorship through an organization you may already be in association with (for example Veterans who qualify for Veterans Affairs Canada assistance often also qualify for Lifeline coverage).

Is there a specific length of time that I must keep the service?
No. The Lifeline Monitoring Agreement has no time clause, minimum amount of time is one month, after the first month, service is provided on a month to month basis.

Will I have any additional costs such as for maintenance?
No, all maintenance costs are taken care of by the Lifeline program.
